Lindas Life

Hi All, Had a wonderful lunch with Maureen today and when we came home, our goat, Diamond, had had her baby. The picture is shaky because I was excited. Then I checked the sex and the excitement was over, he was a boy.
I got my ipod today too. It didn't come with much instructions.

Lindas Life

Hi All, Sorry it has been so long since my last blog. I have been moving slow. I did get some pictures taken. Bill took our grandkids out for a day of trout fishing. Chayse caught a trout over 1 1/2 pounds. It was huge. The kittens are five weeks old now. Do you still want two Maureen. I am taking one of the orange females. The other orange ones are a male and a female. Didn't sex the black ones. Some of the plants are ones Cindy gave me. Bill finished my grape arbor. We have 'Vanessa' grapes on each side. They are seedless red grape vines that are two years old. We got them at Valley Nursery. They have tenny tinny grapes on them already. Bill is working on bird feeders for me now. He has one done and working on the second. I am putting them by the window in the livingroom (craft room) so I can see them when I am crafting.

Hi All, Patty took some pictures of her new kittens. She had to stand up on a latter and get up in the attic so they are a little shaky.
Bill and I went to Harborview Hospital this morning. The doctors want to see him again in two months. They are trying him on a new pain medicine. He is having some trouble with his ankle.
Maureen, how about lunch, next Thursday, the 21st, at noon, at our place, The Kings Wok. Let me know.
Off to bed. Love, me

Lindas Life

Hi All, We took a few pictures of Sam catching fish. He limited out. Grandpa let him drive the boat too. He was a fishing fool. The fish waited in line to get hooked by Sam.

Also is my corner hutch I bought. The dishes inside are dishes that Patty bought me. They are beautiful.
Cindy, thanks for making the apple struddle. I know you went to alot of trouble. The girls liked it I know. I just have to quit. The 'joke' is over for me. I have to get down.
Katie, I am going to order new chickens this year. Transalvania Naked Necks. Dracula chickens. Chickens lay good for about two years old and mine are going on three. I am going to get 25 straight run. I don't get to choose pullets or cocks. They just send them and I hope I get at least half pullets. Patty and Randy have an incubator, so we can raise our own after we get the first bunch. Or at least, that is our plan.
Maureen, Pattys cat had kittens, three orange and two black. She doesn't know the sexes yet. She is going to take pictures tomorrow and I will send then to you via the blog.

Hi All, I just wanted to send you all a few pictures around the house. I finished the Material Girls block, now I just need to quilt it. I am going to use it as a table center piece.
Patty planted about 5 trees that Bill and I bought. She had just quit working when I got home Sunday. Today Bill and I built a tire stack for some small red potatoes. My strawberries have blooms on them already. I am just so excited about everything that is growing. Tomorrow Dolores and I are finally going to get together. She is back from her llllllllllooooooooonnnnggg trip she took.
Love and kisses, me

Lindas Life

Hi All,
Well, I finished another Bible block. This one is called 'Crossroads to Jericho'. Both blocks are the same, just different materials. This block illustrates the choices that Joshua had to make as he approached Jericho. At a personal 'crossroad', he had to choose whether to listen to the commander of the army of the Lord or to follow his own sensible battle plans. Joshua discovers the eternal truth; it's not a matter of having God on our side, it's a matter of making sure we're on God's side.
Bill and I went shopping today. Had a great time. We always do when we are shopping. This time we bought new life-vests and an anchor for the boat. Bill wants to go fishing on our next nice day. Oh, I got a fishing hat too. It says 'Ugly Stick' on it. I had to get it as my poll is called the Ugly Stick.

Lindas Life

Hi All, Well I spent the day quilting on my Bible Quilt. I have decide to make two of them. One for me and one for Dolores. These two blocks are the same. They are called 'Children of Israel' A little bible lesson...Many times the scriptures tell us 'the Children of Istael did evil again in the sight of the Lord'. Over and over, God delivers His people into the hands of their enemies. Again and yet again, the people cry out to God, promising to repent and turn away from worshiping idols and evil deeds. Each time, God raises up a leader to gather the people and lead them back to the Promised Land and the path of righteousness. Each time, the people are obedient for a short time, only to fall back into sin.
Kim...the pictures of the wedding were wonderful.
Katie...I liked your chicken video.
Dolores....are you on your way home?
Gayle..hope the girls are doing fine. I think of them often. Be careful on your trip to Ireland.
did I say 'thimble'?
