Lindas Life

Hi All, I had the group over today, my turn. We had a great time. Mom forgot her purse, we will return it tomorrow when we go to Sam basket ball game. I took some pictures of my new babies went everyone left. They are so cute. One little girl and one boy. There was a third one but we found it dead. Sad. I took a nap, 3 hours, so I will be up all night. Oh well, I feel like sewing anyway.

Hi All,
Sunday we had a wonderful time. We went to church and then we had our two grandkids for the afternoon. We all wanted to do different things, sooooo Chayse and I went to see a movie in Poulsbo. We saw 'Mall Cop'. It was so funny. Bill and Sam went swimming out at Bangor. When we got home Bill started watching the game and his foot was swollen, so he had to keep it elevated, so the kids and I went to Port Orchard to that fish and chip place by Family Pancake House we went for moms 91st. It was closes so we turned around and went to Skippers in Silverdale. We all had enough left over so we brought Bill home some. Then it was time to take the darlings home. Sad. Sam wants to go swimming next Sunday too. Chayse said she just wants to 'hang' with grandma.

Hi All, I need to know who took the picture of Mom and me? I didn't see it posted and I need a copy. Katie, was it you? Help, help.

Nothing new, I got home and just vegged. I'm good at vegging. In fact, I can teach vegging if any one needs lessons.

Hi All,

I finished the "Tree of Life" block of my Bible Quilt. I am going to work on my Fushia Quilt now for awhile so will slow down on the Bible quilt.

Went to Sharons today and had a little party for mom. She is 91 years old tomorrow. Love that lady. Cindys blog has pics etc.

I made upside down pizza for dinner tonight. Bill said he loved it. It was pretty good if I do say so myself. So now it is called,'Lindas Upside Down Pizza". Cindy, I know you like that. Ha, ha.

Hi All, I had trouble sleeping so I just stayed up and did another Bible block. This one is called 'Brother's Keeper'.
So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering; but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brothers keeper?" He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground. Genesis 4:4-9.
It is fun doing this quilt.
I go in for my BIG reaming tomorrow morning at 7:30am. You know what I mean. Today I am living on liquids. What fun for me.
Maureen- Kings Wok Wednesday?????? How about 11am, beat the rush.

Hi All,

This is my second block in my Bible Quilt. It is called 'Jacob's Ladder'. 'And he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth and the top of it reached the heavens and behold the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.' Genesis 28:11-22. I am really enjoying doing this quilt. I am surprised how many quilt blocks got their names because of the bible. This is an old quilt pattern that I am following, that may be why. Any how, I'm loving it.

Sharon and I had a fun day. We played till we couldn't play anymore. Sharon got super tired and I went home and took an hour nap. We did a lot of walking. We missed everyone at Pacific Fabric this morning. Dolores was there with us. Just the three musketeers.

Hi All,

I have been playing with my EQ6. It is so much fun. And being I don't sleep, I think I will fly through the BIG book that came with the CD. I am done with lesson 1 and going to skip to lesson 3. That is where you learn to print out the blocks you make to the size you want. It has hundreds and hundreds of block patterns.

Tomorrow Bill and I are going to a basketball game of Chayses and then to a Christmas play for Sam. The school posponed it from December because of the snow. Bill with be taking pictures.
I will take a couple with my little camera.

See you all Saturday.

Hi All,

This is the first block of the Bible Quilt. It is called 'Garden of Eden'. 'And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden and there he put the man he had made...and a river went out of Eden to water the garden and from thence it was parted and became four' Genesis 2:8 and 10. The green is the trees, blue are the four rivers and the yellow is God.

Today I got my EQ6. Dolores and I spent the day together so tomorrow Bill and I are going to load it on my computer and I can do more of the Bible Quilt. The next two quilt blocks are 14 inches and the first one is only 12 inches. Got to make them all match. I decided to sew them on my machine. I am getting tired of hand work.

Love to all, me

Hi All,

It is 4:05am. Would someone come over and knock me out. I need sleep. Most of our snow is gone. The weather is warming up but we are still waiting for the rain. I am going to start my Bible Quilt tomorrow, or should I say, today, when Dolores comes over for our Tuesday meeting. I think I will make me some tea. Sleep on, all you lucky people.............................

Hi All,

Bill got my printer to work so here goes.............All this snow is what we woke up with. It was pretty but we had plans with Sharon. The sun is out now melting it all. So today all I am doing is quilting. I have been working on my Fushia quilt but I am at a stand still until I hear from Susan with the rest of the directions. I want to get going on my Bible quilt now. I am going to do it all by hand (maybe). Each square is 14 inches. We will see. I have to draw each square to that size. Maybe I should buy a QE6. Hmmmmmmmmmm, think I will. Ho honey, do you think enough snow has melted to get out??????????????????????????????????????
